In response to the growing need for a dedicated organization in the food industry sector, the Iranian Food Science and Industry Association was established in 1985. This initiative was made possible through the collective efforts and shared vision of numerous professors, experts, and officials from both public and private sectors.

The association's inception was marked by the approval of the first National Congress of Food Industry, signifying its essential role in the sector. The association's activities commenced, driven by the cooperation and shared belief of its members, particularly those from the industry and university sectors.

Today, the association stands as a beacon of excellence, recognized as a trusted non-governmental authority in the country's food industry. It has earned this reputation through its dedicated service and the trust placed in it by various stakeholders, including government organizations, industry departments, experts, and others.

We are proud to serve as a cornerstone in the advancement of Iran's food industry, and we continue to strive for excellence in all our endeavors.
